Question
remy's2000
Hi,
I have a 2000 GMC 1500 4x4 5 speed with a 4.8 with 95000miles. So I am assuming I have the nv3500, MG5 on the build sheet. I am having problems shifting between gears when it sits over night or for a few hours. When it warms up for say 5 miles or so the shifting between gears gets easier. I went and changed the fluid in the transmission with Syncromesh and still the same. It doesn't pop out of gear, no transmission noise or grinding between gears. It just feels like alot of friction is against me when moving the shifter. When it's warmed up it shifts fine. Any ideas of what it could be, is it clutch related?
Also how do you bleed the hydraulic clutch on these?
I'm puzzled,
Thanks in advance!
Remy
