Lingenfelter 605 Suburban

Looking at a 1995 Lingenfelter 605 Suburban 2500 4x4. It has a Big Block, and I do not know much more about it. It has 72k miles and has never been in the rain. Truck is for sale, and I am trying to get a value of what it might be worth.

Well I bought a 96 Suburban 1500 4x4 5.7 with almost 200k miles two years ago and I paid seven grand. It was (and still is) in fanastic shape. Engine ran great and the only problems it's caused me was the starter went and I had to replace the battery as well as the spark plugs (though I didn't have to, I just felt it was needed).

I personally think I paid too much, it was my first truck and my dad seemed to think it was (and still does think) it was a good deal. I don't regret buying it, but I do hate the fact I have to sell it.

I don't know if this helps at all, and this was in Canada also.

Thanks for all the meaningless banter. If anyone has any serious information on this truck please let me know, otherwise, I'm sure there are other topics for you guys to hijack and take off topic.

Well it supposed to be a 605 cubic inch 590HP big block with Lingenfelter own MPFI. There was only a few built. According to google the last one went for 30K. Just what I found so far. Either way interesting truck

I'll take my info and move on then....

I guess it was off topic and meaningless then.

Actually txab is pretty knowledgeable, and usually gives straight up answers......

I never told him he was not welcome. I would love to have any pertinent information. I just didn't want this turning into a movie thread.

Lingenfelter

:uhoh: just trying to lighten up the thread a bit :(

Lingenfelter is a bad ass set-up. I drove a Lingenfelter Vet a couple of years ago and it was unbelievable. My concern would be why is the guy selling it? What kind of shape is the engine and drive train in (as in is it beat on?) and how much is he asking. Go investigate it, drive it and research it.

Lingenfelter company is known to put out quality products. My only question would be how the previous owner treated it.
