Ally Financial Rebate

Hey guys I bought a '10 CC in July this year and i financed through GMAC/Ally at the time it was in the process of the name change. But the dealer never offered me the 1k rebate for financing with them. I asked the dealer when i was there this on Monday during an oil change and he said it started being offered last month. Does this sound right did anyone else buy and receive the 1k rebate in July while financing with Ally/GMAC?

 

I have them cutting me a check for my USAA discount they didn't give me either in July. At the time of the deal they said it wasn't compatable with my GM loyalty 500 discount. But now when i ask them about it it all of suuden is compatable. This is why it makes me think that they do not want to fork over the extra 1k for Ally. Since i got 5k rebate plus 2300 for military pricing and another 500 for loyalty. Maybe they thought that was enough and never offered it.

there are a dozen $1000 Down Payment Assistance rebates that GMAC/Ally has been offering.. each has it's own code and specific details and applies to specific vehicles and/or financing options.

I will definately call them just checking to see if anyone received one from them during the July timeframe. Thanks again Chevy Dude for the numbers.

For eveyones information. Last month the rebate was only $1000 through Ally but when i bought the 2011 yesterday it actually went to $2000 on extended cabs after Nov first.

 

And I bought the 2010 in June and never got the Ally rebate either.

I called Ally and spoke with a CSR and she had no idea what Ally offers for rebates. She said nothing showed in the system and that i would have to check with my dealer. I find this amazing that the financing company doesn't even know what rebates they offer. WOW.

 

I even called another dealer in the area and she said the same thing "you would have to check with your dealer". Geez i just want a simple answer to make sure my dealer is being straight up with me. But it looks like they didn't offer the rebates in the summer cbr9rider. Thanks anyways fellas.
