Nice picture.  I completely forgot that there was an airshow at Nellis this weekend.  They haven't had one there in years.  Unfortunately I can't go too, have to much studying and other stuff to do...

I went to an Air Show at Oceana NAS (VA Beach)

We got lots of pics, add those to the other pics I promised you guys all those times.

What was there?

-Canadian Snow Birds

-Blue Angels (I was dissapointed with their performance however, their show only lasted 10 minutes, the snowbirds were up for about an hour)

-B-2 Bomber flyby (That was the highlight of the day for me, what an incredible aircraft)

-"Shockwave" Jet Truck Demonstration: Those of you who have cable or Satelite and watch the TLC channel probably have seen this thing on TV before. Another amazing sight to see.

-F-16 Demo out of Shaw AFB: I'm willing to bet Tom's fingerprints are on that plane!   (Don't worry, I'm not a sicko, I just think it's cool)

I'll get those pics up when I can (along with the other pics I promised a long time ago)

They just might be, depending on when and what squadron it was out of.  :thumb:

I had a B1 bomber fly directly over my house on his approach to the base. But unfortentuetly by the time the camera booted up, he was too far away for a good picture. But I will never forget looking straight up and seeing the belly of that plane.

Yeah it is pretty cool to be buzzed by military aircraft.  One time when I was driving up to Beatty, NV (near all of the air force ranges) to do some work, a couple of A-10s came in from behind me, only about 50ft off the deck (this was military airspace)and buzzed my work truck.  Scared the s*%t out of me but it was pretty sweet.  Same thing happen in South Dakota with some B-1s too. :thumb:

...except when you work night shift and the tent city your living in, over in the desert, is not far past the end of the runway and several A/C, including B-1's, take off right over you every morning, making it hard to get some sleep.

Those B-1's shook the ground every morning, but I loved it.  :thumb:

Awesome!!  I always enjoy getting buzzed by military craft.

Got a big thrill about  20 yrs ago in the middle of the southern Utah Canyonlands; we were in a low area surrounded by 100 ft high rolling hills, and all of the sudden heard this LOW, LOUD rumble, and right over us, maybe 50-100 ft above the tops of these hills, came this B-52, moving slow, but what an awesome feeling and sight - I'll never forget it.  :thumb:

 Thats cool!! About 3 weeks ago I was driving home from Artesia, NM back to Las Cruces.... Holloman AFB is on the way and apparently the Thunderbirds were putting on a show there right as I drove by... They flew over the Highway so low that I could see the pilots as they passed..  Always way cool to see!!!  :)

When I was younger a b-52 flew over us at very low (and loud!!) altitude... Here in NM with Kirtland, Holloman, and what was the old "Walker AFB" in Roswell, they always hold the big wargames here.. And in Artesia (where I lived) was a major "target;"  Navajo Refinery!!!... I got to see alot of cool things go on... B-1s... Tons of F-117s (cause theyre all based at Holloman) and a ton of various fighters..
