3.73 Posi Swap Question

I have a non-posi 373 rear end in my '00 Z71 and I want to swap out that carrier with an OEM GM used posi carrier. Do I still have to reshim and use a dial indicator or is it basically plug and play?

you will need to reshim and check backlash. It won't be plug and play unless your new carrier and new bearings are the exact same dimensions as your old ones. Its almost 100% that you will need to make some sort of adjustment
