HEY

That looks pretty cool... pretty extensive remodel of your Hoe. I would like to know how much difference the sound deadening material made to the sound level while cruising...

I did the sound deadening material for sound quality purposes..ie..no rattles...etc...but the road noise is pracitcally non existent..but this is an extreme amount... no one does this much..if you do...go to b-quiet.com they have this stuff called b-quiet extreme..its a generic verision of dynamat extreme..i swear its the same stuff..just no dynamat label..i layered my car in that crap..im talkin...3 layers everywhere and 4 on the doors...

IDMAX subs are very bad ass..but you would need all those amps just to power 2 10's..that..and they only come in 12's... i like 10's...into sharp clean bass....the story of no wires..hmm..shoulda i share...well..it takes balls...essentially..you have to surgicically cut the dust cap off the sub...it has to be perfect....then..you take off the stock tinsel leads...and soder new ones on..being very careful they don't ground anywhere...then..you poke four holes in the dust cap..run the new longer tinsel leads through... silicone and epoxy the dust cap on..must be done very well or will blow off...hehe..messed up once...then..take your tinsels and secure them just past the surround area...from there...hook up some fat speaker wires and go to the amp..if your down with cutting up 600 bucks worth of woofers like i did..then go for it..if your not very stereo inclined..i wouldnt reccomend it.

Very Sweet!  Me, I went with a Denon Z1 head unit, MB Quarts front and rear (mounted the highs on the A-pillars), 4 10" MB Quarts in the rear, and a Hertz amp to power it.  Man, I LOVE it.  Nothing like filling up a Tahoe with perfect sound!

Good luck with yours.  That's going to be insane.  Mine's not at all showy -- yours will get the attention it deserves!
