BFG ALL TERRAIN KO

How do these tires perform when it comes to rain slicked roads and snow? The tread pattern looks like it is prone to hydroplaning. Do the treads block up with snow? How are they as far as highway noise? I got Wrangler ST's that were orig equip and they are like useless on a wet road, plus they squeal like a pig in turns, any help is sure appreciated!

I've had them on my Sierra since May and they are great in the rain. Very little road noise if any at all IMO.

Hopefully I can try them out in snow SOON

I have BFG All-Terrain KO's on my 1997.  They are a good tire in all conditions althought they occasionally hydroplane but nothing like the stock Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires that came on my '00 Silverado.  Those tires wouldn't grip anything!  When my wife ended up in the center median one afternoon during a rain storm, I bought new tires.  I ended up getting a set of Nitto Terra Grappler AT's and haven't regretted it yet.  I love my BFG's but these tires are far better IMO.  They have better wet, dry, and mud (in my limited experience) traction and they are extremely smooth and quiet on the highway.  As an added bonus, they cost less than a set of BFG's.

But in any case, a set of BFG's will do you well.  Very good tire.

Just my 2 cents.

EXCELLENT Traction

I have had em for 22K miles.  Yesterday comng back from closing down our summer cottage it started raining/sleeting 3 times i hit slick spots and the tires grabbed and i barely had any slippage (rear locker helped too)

The treads do block up with snow but they clean themselves nicely.  What i mean is if you drive at slow speeds (like pulling into your driveway) and park the tread will be caked.  However when your driving at normal street/highway speeds they clean out.

Road noise - they are noticably noisier than the stock firestones but i could care less. Just turn the radio up  The benefits outweigh the negatives HEAVILY
