kurt1993 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-15779/?rtype=10 so back durring the winter months i crunched my tail pipe right up against my rear tire and had to cut it off, so right now it exits as a dump under the bed right above the rear axle.... i think im just going to purchase this magnaflow muffler and exit pipe 1. because it will most likely sound nice and increase milage and 2. because it will replace the pipe i had to chop Does anyone have any expierence with this specific magnaflow product or any similar products on your 8.1? Will it drone real bad or is there anything that may sound better for a similar price? leme know Thanks, -Kurt
06_GMC Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I hear that the cat back kits drone the least compared to just replacing the muffler. I love my magnaflow but some dont like them. Flo-pro makes quiet cat back kits too.

kurt1993 Posted June 8, 2011 Author Posted June 8, 2011 Just had a thought this system is made for a CC/SB or SC/LB I have an EC/SB will i run into any problems trying to do this myself?
06_GMC Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 If it will fit a crew cab short bed then all you may have to do is shorten the inlet pipe to the muffler, and a lot of times on wheelbase universal kits they make that inlet pipe to be shortened in this situation.
