Actuator Or Not, Paseenger Side Dash

2005 GMC Sierra, Crew Cab.....Problem is UNDER the passenger side dash..

 

 

• Starts when I turn the key to the RUN position....THUNK THUNK THUNK (continuously)........A/C is OFF
  
• Continues when I start my truck....THUNK THUNK THUNK (continuously)......A/C is OFF
  
• STOPS when I get to cruising speed, STARTS again as I slow down and get to idle.........A/C is ON/Off
  
• Dual climate control and Stays cold throughout and does not blow hot air.....
  
• More of a continuous THUNK instead of a CLICK
  

 

After many forums, I'm told its the actuator but I dont understand why its making the noise even when the A/C is off?

If so, then how do I distinguish which actuator is the problem

all u had to do was bump your thread and not start the same one ......newbies.....i really have 1500 posts not 18 lol....NOT A NEWBIE ..lol

 

all kidding aside ,,you need a diagnoses from a trained guy or an ear and hand to find it ...

 

i go for the diagnoses with a scanner myself.....saves money
