06tyler06 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I have pulled a fair amount of motors before, plenty of 350's and 454's. My truck I have now is a 1977 Chevy C10 with a 305 2bbl. I have a lifting plate, but it fits a 4bbl intake. I also have the chains, yet my 2bbl intake does not have the outer bolts to connect the chains. I really need help. Thanks
ride65 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Drill some more holes in the plate? Mine has about 20 holes in it.
nickvrebel Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 do it the normal way you would without a lifting plate: put bolts in to the holes where accessory brackets go and use bolt holes for the transmission bellhousing on the rear if you have to.
