Alternator swap

I can't imagine you will get the full benifit of a swap without changing the wire to a larger size. Seems forcing 145 amps though the 105 Amp wire is not goint to be too efficent.

In my 05 8.1 liter i swapped the oem 105 with a delphi 145 and the belt went right back on, no problems at all.

The pulley,s were the same

Totally off topic...

I just want to find a mudhole and have as much fun as you obviously had. My truck is WAY too clean right at the moment...just covered in Georgia pollen...ugh!!!

That was a trip to the county landfill when it was pouring rain.

Apparently they can't afford to pave the road. With your ridiculous taxes out there you make Mass. look good!

they keep changing the area for us to dump do all they do is carve a new dirt road, lay some gravel, and that gets pushed in the dirt by water trucks, dump trucks, and trash trucks. the water trucks roll by every 15 or so minutes for "dust control" so its always a muddy road.

Dang the local dump/recycle center here is right off the main road. It isn't paved but it's all rock, gravel & everything else that I don't want to think about that people drop on the ground. I actually had to pay to get muddy. Although with the dirt roads around here you just wait until it's raining, just don't get caught. Cops are starting to give out tickets for "off roading" on the dirt roads, distruction of roadways...oops!

So back on topic however, did you get the new alternator installed yet?
