1984 chevy k5 battery drain

my buddy said to test it with a screw driver .said it might be the sprk solenoid.the center plug wire on the cap.and to check to see if the cap is burnt or the rotor..

welp come to find out it was the fuel filter.took off the fuel line to determine if the problem was electrical or fuel related. took the fuel line off it was pumping fuel so i took out the filter from the carb an saw it was filthy so i reaplaced it started right up. while i was at it i replaced the air filter..

and the battery was draining cause i had a bad alt...
