The speed grille from Street Scene they have one that's black powder coat. as far as the chrome surround you can sand and paint it

Hard to believe. The color matched trucks sell quick, people like them. There are more color matched front ends on lots here than there are those FUGLY ones like in the picture. Mine the day I picked it up :

If I were to get a 2012, I would have to do the color matched again with this new style grille. Much better than the fake chrome.

I like this new one much better than mine with the chrome outline around the grille. May be doing a swap to this grille in the near future.

The best way is to buy a paintable front bumper from a denail then buy a bare plastic grill and hood trim piece from a work truck sierra and have a body shop paint them. You would be looking at around $1000 in parts. Then say $200 for a grille insert. Paintable rear bumper caps are another $400 if you wanted to do that. Then figure a bodyshop would charge you $500 to paint and install it all. You could likely sell all your factory stuff for around $500. So to do it properly you would end up in the $1500 range.

Of course you can always try and paint what you have yourself but the front end will chip and flake pretty fast and you will end up having to do all of that so your brand new truck doesn't look like crap. It is one of those do it right the first time and dont worry about it things.

Make sure you don't have a plastic "chrome" insert covering up your grille. My 2009 had one, and I took it off soon after.

I like the standard Sierra front end w/ the middle chrome. The over-sized chrome on the Silverado is a bit loud for my tastes.
