Hmm interesting color. Once I purchase or build a .308 I think I'm going with burnt bronze or FDE.

I looked at burnt bronze. Since there will be carbon fiber parts, I want something to offset that and make them look good

Will be a while. This isn't going to be a cheap build. Rather do the gun than finish my bumper. But I have a couple trips to take in the next 2 months so that is taking the money. The carbon fiber stuff is about $350-400. Trigger is $250, $350 for barrel, and gas system

I completely understand! I'm saving to buy a house in a couple months, plus I need to finish my 10/22 and Mossberg 500 builds. For the 10/22 I need the Volquartsen competition trigger assembly $700, internally surprised barrel $700 + plus stamp and scope rings $40. For the mossberg I'm not even sure how much all the goodies will cost on that guy.

I decided on a fluted barrel, carbon fiber stuff, and a Geissele 2 stage trigger. Those are going to cost me

I'm on a Corsair H100(the first gen). I'm thinking of upgrading because the socket will also interchanges with coolers on the 1151, so that's one less thing to buy.

OCing is easy with modern BIOS's, I was running a lower clock until that using some custom settings, but now I'm just using the built in OC program. It's a little erratic, it even "crashed" on lower clocks during the auto tune, but is running this just fine so far.

I need to start looking for a job. Thinking of something like CNC, but have no experience. Anyone know how physical it is? From what I've read it seems to vary per workplace. With my arthritis problems my work possibilities are narrowed, so trying to figure something out.
