Observations 2013 Sierra vs 2006 Sierra SLE's

My Brother just bought a brand new 2013 SLE last week. I have a 2006 SLE with about 83,000 miles on it. While I prefer the newer truck in the looks dept from the exterior I can go either way on the inside except I do prefer his instrument cluster. Only other observation that I would like comment on is that while they both drive very good I do think that the 06 rides better, not as stiff. I am unsure if this is in my head or if it because his is newer or what ???? Anybody else have any insight ? One other thing is I prefer about mine is it is long paid for !!!! Congrats to my Brother on his new ride too.

The front suspension is different in the NBS, they went to a strut assembly. Definitely what makes the front end tighter. I loved that about moving from my 2000 to my 2007

the GMT800's are way more comfy then the 900 seat. almost everything else in the 900's is better though. Out of every vehicle I have been in, the GMT800 cloth bucket seat is the best, other then the fact that it dosent go back all the way. IMO

agreed, the loose steering in the GMT800's drives me crazy, they all have it.

My '13 Sierra is generally more refined than my.'05 Silverado. One improvement in ergos is they moved the steering wheel a little closer to the driver....that was my only gripe with the Silverado.

I wonder too if the 20" wheels on his 13 contribute to a stiffer feel than my 17" wheels due to tire depth ??

I'd like 20's, but not practical for my job. I need more meat there, than rim. Sucks, because I love the look of em.

My work allows them. They are a XL rated tire
