Plastic fading on rear bumper.

The last few months have been a hellish mix of snow, ice, salt and sand. With the snow finally gone, and the sun rays beaming down and blessing us with their warmth, one starts to look a little bit closer at the paint and finish on their truck. So today we washed up Project Sierra and noticed that the plastic on the rear bumper was looking extremely faded. And not just a little bit, it looked really bad. I mean, is this even 'normal'??

But have no fear, our friends over at Adam's polishes sent us over some Super VRT. Just look at the difference this stuff has made!!!

It's pretty strange. Even more so when you can see the license place light housings didn't change color at all. Adam's VRT, shockingly, made it look brand new again.

Not normal, especially like Zane pointed out that the license plate light housings look like new. My rear bumper, after almost 3 years, still looks as new as day 1. How long does it take for that stuff to wash off? Is it like most tire treatments that are gone after one rain? Glad mine doesn't need anything yet.

Applying a good protectant can help the plastic exterior from fading. I've heard that 303 product is a good one.

I use the 303 also.
