LS6 Intake Manifold Swap

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone! I've been wanting to throw on an LS6 Intake Manifold from a Corvette onto my 2002 5.3 Silverado. I was just wondering if there is anyone who has done this and if so what problems were faced. It sounds like the Vette manifold is slightly longer and there may be some issues with my current water pump. It sounds like an interesting project and a great learning experience. Again, if anyone has tried this, I would love to hear your stories and/or opinions. Thanks! :driving:

My write up I did when I was looking into it. Not worth the money and time for what gains you will see, though I didn't go into detail of how much the swap and such would be, trust me, it wouldn't be worth it unless you planned to heavily modify the engine but then I would go with an FAST LSX intake with 102mm throttle body.
