2013 LTZ What else could go wrong?

New here and added to an ancient thread on the Silverado's problem with the Right side center body mount bold spinning.. I had a similar issue with a '13 bolt.. but...... the plot has thickened and out of a simple bolt issue came more..

Dealer fixed the bolt follwing the technical bulletin from GM, but in the process my new 13 with 600 miles on it was sitting in the shop and got an overall coat of clear overspray - free of charge...

Thing is... they said NOTHING when I went to pick it up but just tole me that I sure had a purty truck... Got home and "felt" the problem and went directly back to discuss the issue. Windshield was speckled with clear coat too... How could they ahave missed that?

Manager said yep - sure is oversray... No hesitation whatsoever.... We'll clay bar it and it will be just fine.. Two dayz later I go directly to the truck sitting in the parking lot and FEEL the finish.. Mostly good but they didn't do the TOP at all... Guess since nobody can reach it they decided it wasn't worth it... Long story long - they are now repainting the top because when I looked on the roof there waz a really big booger - BIG.... Something musta landed on the roof at time of factory paint..... Truck is back at the Dealer...

Damn! I'd say contact GM customer care or if you have another dealer in your area go there and if you get a survey on this dealer, burn them. Those surveys get the dealer big money when they come back good and bad remarks hurt them.

Not telling you it happened is the same as lying. I would never trust them again.Definately find a different dealer.

Wow thats f***ed up! I would have went nuts! I got to investigate this bolt spinning thing some just bought my truck last week.

I had a dealer near me remove all my emblems only to pick up my truck and find paint chips missing where a couple of the emblems were. They tried painting the chips with summit white paint while my truck has the diamond white tricoat on it. They definetly didnt get a good review on my survey.

Oh by the way someone (idiot) tried to steal my 95 Caddy STS last night.. Broke parts of the steering column - in shop as I speak... different shop...

July hasn't been stellar so far...

Got the truck back and they did a pretty good job painting the top but... and here it comes.... The top of the drivers door has a fine grit sand mark all along the top edge of the drivers side on the two doors... Haven't taken it back yet as I really do want to drive this thing a little... It's been inna shop longer than I've had it onna road...

an aside..... Got the Caddy back $300 later... I really need a security system.. any ideas out there? I don't want the Sam's models, but don't want the high cost ones either... Isn't there a medium priced system out there?

Sorry... I waz not clear as to which security I need.. I am thinking of a home surveillance system with cameras... I have 4 vehicles out there in the driveway and street and cameras would be better.. They would not help locating the vehicle, but would be better for recognition of the perps..

also to see which of the neighbors dogs are pooping in my yard...
