Chevy airbag emblem

This is Chevy airbag emblem that MAY fit some of the following vehicles: SILVERADO AVALANCHE SUBURBAN TAHOE COBALT EQUINOX HHR IMPALA MALIBU TRAVERSE UPLANDER. This is a GM assembly part that is not available as a replacement part from any Chevy dealer. Because of this, I have no way of telling exactly which models and years it will fit. Measure yours and if it’s 60mm in diameter, it may fit. If yours is banged up and dented, this is a cheap and easy way to make your interior look nice again without spending hundreds on a replacement airbag. I used one on my 2008 Silverado pickup and it took less than half an hour to do including removing the airbag from the car. You could possibly just cut the tangs off the back and glue it on to your existing emblem with silicone if you don’t want to remove the old emblem.

I would not recommend that to anyone. The tabs are on there to retain it in the event of deployment. Is it hard to replace? Would be nervous about deploying the air bag

Remove the airbag. Remove the cover by taking out 4 nuts on the back. Pry out the old emblem. Put in the new one and reverse these steps.

Not bad at all, I looked up how after I asked lol...I've taken my air bag out but didn't realize you could pop the cover off like that. I've been searching for the longest for a Denali one.
