New Truck Camper

Recommended Posts

Posted

I picked up my new Wolf Creek 850 4 Seasons Camper yesterday. I can't wait to get her all rigged up and take it out for a weekend of ATV fun (hitch extension, trailer lighting extension, generator, etc). Truck is running all stock suspension for now, I'm going to be installing Tork Lift Stable Loads to pre-load onto the overload springs and see how it sits and drives. I may add air bags someday, but for now she's usable. Any advice from fellow camper guys is welcome.

Nice set up! I keep telling momma that some day the TT will go away and a slid in with a slide out is in the future. That way we can get off the grid and get some real camping done! I think your in the right direction for the rear springs. Have no idea of what is right or wrong for that! Get out and enjoy it!

Looks great, how much does it weigh?

The base camper dry weight is 2008lbs, mine came in at 2,348lbs with all the extras (pre-wired for generator, A/C, stereo, TV, satellite, and microwave), wireless remote jacks, Arctic Fox bumper, heated tanks, storm windows for the winter, oven, wardrobe cabinets, full bath, extra large refrigerator, LED lighting, and queen size bed. It is very light weight for how loaded it is and considering it is made for 4 seasons use.

Base price was $19,044, so low to mid $20's depending on options. I'm assuming you could use an A/C unit more than the heated plumbing/tanks....

wow that unit is just awesome. good luck with it and enjoy!

Very nice, I am jealous. I am looking at the camplite style slide ins. Similar weight at around 2000. Is your frame made out of wood or aluminum? Again looks great!

It has an all welded aluminum superstructure.
