Anybody using the Google Chromecast yet? I heard it was great but thought I would see if anybody has actually used one yet.

Ordered from Amazon the day after it was announced. Still waiting for delivery. Expected in October. Oh well. I'll let you know then.

Interesting review. If I didn't use the Xbox for everything I'd probably get one.

Yea there ia a device in every room of my house that can do all that. I do like being able to throw a chrome tab to it. But my blu ray does all that. As do the 3 xbox 360's, ps3, soon to be 2 ps4's

I'm getting a Samsung tablet soon, so it would be neat to "throw" stuff from it to the TV. For the price I guess I might as well try it if they ever have some in stock.

You really can't go wrong for $35 bucks! You can get it at best buy also if they have any left!

I agree, for $35, it only has to stream Netflix and Youtube to be worth it. The tab-casting feature is icing on the cake. I'm excited to try it out.

Well I managed to pick one up. For youtube and being able to throw stuff from phone to tv is nice

I have one, I rooted my phone and enabled mirroring of my phone to the TV directly.

Anything I can see on my phone, I can put it on my TV at 1080p! everything looks gorgeous! however, the feed is about 100-300ms behind, gaming is out of the question. Movies, youtube, pictures all work!
