I prefer a little more sidewall myself. 20-22 is perfect. But hey, different sense of style. For a show truck and looker its perfect how you have it though.

I would say it looks great, just not practical for me.

Chris, I had that vibration at 20-25 and at 50-55. Guess what? No more shakes so far. They had to put a 8 degree in along with 1/2 inch spacer on the transmission mount. On the drive home everything seems to be working like it is suppose too. I will get to put it on the highway in the morning to test it out. Are you going to put a speaker box under your back seat? I currently have (4) 10s under mine. Next stop is 24s or 26s. I still can't get my pictures to load because they load bigger than 1MB.

Have you guys worked out these vibration issues? I have been waiting to hear what kind of problems come up with this kit. I have a 14 4x4 crew and want the same 2/4 drop. I am also going to run an overload air bag setup so I can still pull a trailer.

I went to a place called Rocket City Off-Road (Huntsville, AL). They ended up having to put a 1/2 inch

spacer under my transmission mount and 8" shims under the axles and that fix the vibrations for me.

Did the TPMS sensors sync up okay? I have the same wheels and want to mount them on my new truck. Thanks, and the truck looks sharp!!

I'm really enjoying this truck so far! So much more refined than my 2008. It's a 2014 GMC Sierra SLE 5.3 Z71 2WD.

She still has the dealer tag on and after day 5 it's lowered on the Rough Country 2/4" kit, I added my 22" Denali Hybrid wheels (best GM wheel ever imo) with new Goodyears and had the tint done.

I'm hunting exhaust this week. I would really like to have the Corsa. I have it on my 2008 Z06 and their set up is really nice. If that can't happen I may just go with the mid Flowmaster.

From what I have experienced and heard doing drop spindles only, shouldnt change the ride much at all if even at all. You retain stock springs, spring hight, and preload. most of the time people do other thing that affect ride like drop front coils, stiff rear drops, or low profile tires.

I did mcgauhys coil relocators in the front and its pretty close to stock, the rear to get the 4 inch drop you have to have a flip kit and shorter shocks all drop shocks that I know of are stiff what shocks do u recommend ? My kit didn't come with shocks, the stocks are too long, tried the rough country they didn't fit right, bushings to small, the best drop shocks IMO are the belltech they have oem style bushings and sleeves, And fit tight. Maybe the crew cabs ride better that the single cabs because they're heavier and that's why people are saying they ride like factory...

Sorry for the late reply, yes they worked fine, I'm sure you already found out. Pics?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't found out yet. My truck is being built this week so I have a bit yet. Don't think I will swap them on until I'm sure the snow is gone for good too.

Thanks Again!

I was just about to pull the pin and order the components to do the 2-4 drop on my 14 and reading the posts I am now worried about the vibration that some people are experiencing. Shimming the diff and trans corrected this? Did every truck experience this? I am thinking of the belltech or mcgaughys adjustable struts drop shackles and removing rear blocks. im kind of a test pilot for this by the looks of it because my truck is a 4x4 but since my truck was ordered with the custom sport package instead of z71 I have the steel control arms and apparently 2wd drop kits will work for it. I know spindles are a nice way to go but I had issues fitting my winter 17's over my belltech drop spindles on my 13 4x4. For exhaust i went with the Borla dual out one side kit and am very happy with it, when 4 cyl mode kicks in it has a bit of a deeper rumble but not obnoxious at all. Working at a GM dealer I found GM now sells a Borla cat back gmpp kit available with dual out rear or right side and comes with the little flapper valve to help limit v4 mode rumble.
