New speakers for 2011 Sierra ext cab

I'm lookin to get some new speakers. Nothin outrageous, just some better sound. any recommendations?

Polk or Infinity - poly material will last longer - avoid cheap paper speakers.

Around $100/pair is a good deal.

If they are being run off your stock HU , you will get minimal gain upgrading to a good speaker. The stock HU does not have the power to push aftermarket. Adding a small amp or upgrading HU will make a huge difference.

also the rear speakers are an odd size with a unique bracket that requires a fair bit of modification to fit aftermarket speakers into.

I have actually been quite impressed by just adding a sub under the rear seat and tuning some of the base out of the stock speakers.

I ran the infinity kappa series 6.5" in my 99' SIlverado and they sounded great. Ran them directly off the Kenwood unit and it had plenty of power.

Infinity all the way. If I were replacing mine now, I would be looking at infinity. I would also be thinking of getting them ordered from Crutchfield. Here is a search pulling back the Infinity brand for your 11' ext. cab:
