Post Pics of Your 2014+

Recommended Posts

Haven't posted much on here over the past few years but visited the site almost daily. I started with a black 2016 High Country in September of 2016 and then traded up to a pearl white 2017 High Country in March of 2017 after 6k miles. Actually traded it in for more than I paid for it (Thanks, Bonus Tag). Currently have 24k miles on the 17 and am trading it tomorrow for a GMC Terrain SLT. Unfortunately, certain circumstances have changed with life and it no longer makes sense to have a high end truck right now. Furthermore, my commute has increased significantly and I will hit the 36k warranty mark within the next 4-6 months. I really loved driving these trucks over the past few years and I honestly like this generation better than the 2019+, but maybe they will grow on me as I see more of them on the road.

Nice ride!  What year/model is the truck?

2015 Sierra SLT. Has damn near every option available. I've heard someone call it an SLT Plus, although not sure what that is. It's a very high optioned Z71 Sierra SLT for certain. Has most of the doo-dads that come on the Denali with the exception of the fancy all glass gages, no MagnaRide, and no 22's. Only option I don't have that I wish I did was the 6.2L, I searched for a month to find a black one with the 6.2 and these options and couldn't find anything within 500 miles (was trading in a TBSS that I travelled to Canada to get, and was a basket case when I got home, so the wife was VERY against me travelling to get another vehicle). This one was about 100 miles away and checked all but one box, so I brought it home. Given me about 25k miles of trouble free service so far in the 16 or so months I've had it.

Here's my '16 Silverado that I got less than a month ago. All I've done so far is the obligatory Weathertech floor liners, mudflaps and I did put on a set of Bridgestone Revo 3 tires.

What’s your input on the Revo 3’s so far?

So far I'm liking them. Today I put on 160 highway miles to come see my son. Very nice ride with surprisingly little road noise considering it has a more aggressive tread design than I'm used to. If they continue to perform like this, when the time comes I'll put a set on my '04 Z-71.

I’ve always heard good things about those tires, good for you [emoji1303]
