How you like that grill?  I've been eyeballing that sucker, that light bar throw off decent light?  Truck looks sharp!

I just had it installed but so far so good. Love the look, and light is very powerful, but my concern is the quality of the light bar. Total cost $399 which is really not bad considering I've seen 30 inch lights for that cost,  but the shop I use out here in TX, covers everything I've had done, so if it breaks , they replace it. I get a ton compliments on it Joe.

It is not cheaply made by any means.

Just bought my first truck, have had older jeeps and some suv's but being a single dad with sole custody of my 7 year old daughter and a truck was always just out of reach for me in cost.   I bought a 2018 Silverado K1500 LT.   I bought it with 27k on it, so it was driven a lot in a year and a half the previous owner had it, but that made it affordable, picked it up for $24,200 which I thought was a good deal so I jumped on it.

Recently went from a 38 mile commute to 10 mile commute for work, each way, so figured if not now then never.

Nothing special on the truck, it has the bigger infotainment screen, a leather wrapped steering wheel, upgraded interior and cloth seats.

I'd like to put bigger tires on it, but not sure how big I can go on the current rims with out lifting it.

Just bought mine in December ! It’s an 18 z71 Premium plus slt .
I want to lift it 6 inches and maybe keep the factory 20’s with some 35x12.50x 20’s
I can’t seem to find a lot of lifted pics with stock wheels .

It because of the wheel offset on the factory wheels. Most suspension lifts will have a note stating the issue with factory wheels. Also, 35x12.5x20 tires will definitely not work. In fact, 35 inch tires on ANY GM truck is going to have rubbing, unless you go with 6.5 or higher and again, not going to work on stock wheels.

Go to Custom Offset Wheel site and you can enter any setup and it will show you people who have that setup.

This is my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country in Rainforest Green Metallic with the 6.2L V8 option. I’ve had many cars in my day but, I’m new to owning a truck and I’m very happy so far! I’m looking at switching out the headlights with one that has a drl strip, either Spyders or Winjets. Not sure which one yet. I’ll be doing a hid conversation as well. I’d also like to do a swap with the current rims. The ones that came with it is not really my style but, would love to put on some old school 5 spoke chrome rims. I also heard of an upgrade to the 2015’s hmi 2.0 to 2.5 that would enable apple CarPlay. I would love to do that as well but, I’ll have to read up a bit more on the forums to see the process. Anyways, nice to meet you all!
