Is it possible to turn off the Active Fuel Management with a Superchip iHawk or DashBoss?

Not sure with the hardware you mentioned. You can get a custom tune or buy the rangr v8 device

If all you want to do is the AFM, the Range V8 module is the most cost effective. If you want to do more, either now or in the future, the DiabloSport tune is probably the best way to go about that. Even if you did the Range module and then later decide you want to do the tune thing, it is pretty easy to sell the Range module to someone else on the forums and recover some of the cost. They are a very popular item. I direct tune that can be modified to fit your particular vehicle is going to be light years ahead of any Superchip stuff. Lew at Diablewtune.com will make your pickup come alive. Best overall way to go if you want both to delete AFM and wake up your vehicle.
