Dealer discount?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and order either a 2014 Sierra or Silverado with the 6.2 and pretty loaded. I think both truck are awesome, and I'll buy which ever one I get the best deal on. What kind of discount have you guys seen from the dealers? I'm not talking about the factory incentives, just what the dealer is willing to offer. Is there any way to find dealer cost on a vehicle without the vin? I've always paid less than dealer invoice for my vehicles by looking it up on the internet and seeing what the invoice price is, but I've always just grabbed one off the lot that had a vin number. I've never ordered one before. I'm a little apprehensive about placing the order, but I don't think I'll ever see these trucks on the lot in the time frame that I have. I need it by March or April at the latest.

Thanks in advance for the help guys and gals.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I ordered mine a few weeks ago and the dealer offered me supplier pricing which is about $3600 off MSRP on a $51,000 Sierra plus I'll get whatever incentives are available at the time of purchase.

Yea, I got supplier pricing plus the $2500, then as a surprise the dealer kicked in an additional 1000.00 of in rebates

You might want to check but I thought that the 6.2 orders were backed up which might push back on your time frame of April

supplier pricing is a good discount on a new truck like this.... If you can do better great but to expect hundreds below invoice isn't realistic..... don't beat yourself up beating dealers up over a couple hundred bucks.....

i got around a 4k discount, with incentives it was about $10,200 below MSRP

I did just as good on mine, paid $42K and change for a 2lz ltz z71 CC with 22" rims. There's deals out there if you are patient.

Just my experience,

The deal I got is unbeatable. I work for a company that gets better discounts than a gm employee. My price equals cost plus 1% works out to be just about 10k discount. Plus at the time of purchase I received the 3500 dollar discount and the 1000 dollar loyal discount. In the end my truck loaded up sierra was 61500 cnd and paid 36500 ish tax paid cnd. Couldn't resist. And happier every day I own this unit!

I have seen the "one onlys" at a $4,000.00 discount. Of course, they could always do another one!

Good luck and have fun shopping!

Dealers don't make $28500 profit on trucks. There must have been a trade involved or you are confused. Sorry.

There is a dealer by where I live that is selling 2014 crew cab 4x4 LT's with the v6 for $9,500 discount off msrp. You can get one in the 33,000's. That's a heck of a deal considering they haven't been out that long.
