Front bumper/Full hood/partial fenders/headlights and fog lights & front window tint - $1000 taxes in. 6 year warranty I believe. Would imagine cheaper in US as well.

I get the front of the hood and the metal part of the bumper done for about $600.00

My all terrain also already has several rock chips on the painted front bumper. I have a friend who used to own a clear bra company, he is going to cover parts of my front end for me - should take care of the problem.

Is it easy to tell its on there? Read some complaints online about it it yellowing over time and that if u take it off it ruins the paint. Just want to make sure of the downsides before I spend $600. I have a white truck and plan on only covering the bumper. I Really liked the look of the painted bumpers but starting to think it's not really practical

I worked for a custom shop in houston texas and we did high end tint and clear bra for exotic vehicles. Do your research. Depending on the color you have its really important to get a good quality clear bra. I have seen 3M yellowed and cracked after only 2-3 years and you are right, if not removed right it will pull paint off the vehicle. I would recommend Xpel Ulitmate, you can get basic pricing at the link below, typically these prices will be a little cheaper and installed. Xpel is the only self healing material and the clarity is like no other. If you have a light color vehicle you will want Xpel for how clear it is, and if you have a dark color you will want it for its minimal "orange peel" look. If you have any questions feel free to ask, and as for the videos on the link posted below, I have seen this in real life and it works and performs exactly as described.

Also is there any issues with scrubbing or washing over this stuff? I seem to collect a lot of bugs on my bumper and have to clean the front end quit a bit

You wont have any issues scrubbing. The film will "heal" itself in the sun and its stain resistant.

I live in Mooresville, NC where most of the NASCAR race teams are based and a local shop (Russo's Tinting) that does the windshield tearoffs for most of the race teams, did my 07 Tahoe (in Sept 2006) with the 3M clearshield. Granted it only has 40,300 miles and always stays in the garage (Wife's vehicle), but the front end looks the same as the day he installed it. It took one major rock impact in the hood and only made a mark in the 3M shield. Very happy I had him put it on.

So, the day after bringing home the 2014 GMC AT, he tinted the windows and installed the same 3M clearshield. Standing 10 feet from the truck, you cannot see it at all. Everything forward facing is covered as well as huge pieces behind the tires and even the "A" pillars. Looks perfect. He charged me $500. Not sure the grade of the 3M, but he pointed at the small box the 3M came in and said it was $1500.

The self healing XPEL sounds like that makes sense also. Wish I would have known about that three weeks ago.

I have an xpel dealer a few miles from my house and I called and they said it would be around 2200 for the front bumper and just the front of the hood of my sierra Denali.. Is that normal pricing? For that price I could just get the bumper repainted

Is there and cheaper alternatives that are decent?

LMAO! Yeah, don't go to that guy. We did a FULL Ford Raptor, everything except the roof for 4K installed. I looked on their website, linked below, and pricing for bumper, bumper pad, 18-24" partial hood, fenders and mirror kit would be around $900.00. I used to go by this pricing when selling kits and offer free headlights (~$100.00) and free install (~$300.00). Prices vary based on size of film, including waste that is required to covered the desired area.

WHATEVER YOU DO.. DO NOT buy the film off the website, negotiate a price with the installer. You will end up paying way more buying the film and having someone install, the installer most likely (if they are a approved dealer) will have this film and be able to cut it right then and there.
