High Country vs Ltz Z71

If you look at the event code 3100 thread the are a lot of us over 10 weeks of waiting and they havent even bothered to build them yet. So figure a month more at least by the time they build and ship pits us over 14 weeks. And thats if were lucky.

I got a TPW of 12/30/13.

Is that reliable?

Well a large group of us had tpws of 12-23, that came and went and they only built a couple. When I went on gm chat to ask why my tpw came and went and nothing got built, they simply gave me a completly bs response of "were sorry your experiencing an unusually long wait time, please check back as often as you'd like to check for future updates."

LTZ Z71 would be my choice. The cowboy truck does not do it for me.

Now I'm even more glad I went with the HC!! LOL BTW mine has the Hill Decent Control as well. The HC does not have chrome on the front or rear bumpers so less chrome than a LTZ Z71 right?

My LTZ has it also, along with hill assist. I like the bling on the white diamond paint. Just saying.....

Not arguing with you guys, but you HC guys are telling me that you have the extra button to activate the hill descent control to the left if the park assist button? According to the brochure, the build sheets and even the dealership, this is an off road z71 only option specific to that package. You may have gotten a free surprise if you don't have a z71. Every HC and noon z71 Ltz that I've looked at didn't have it. Maybe it's a late production option or mistake? Wish this would have been the case when I was shopping, but at least maybe when I order the 6.2 truck, I can get it with out the rougher riding z71. Will confirm it tomorrow if it can be ordered for me. Happy New Year!

Mine has popped up and said on the front screen "activating hill descent control". I have no button that I'm aware of so we may be talking about something different that I don't have.

LTZ Z71 for me. I've had a King Ranch and loved it but the interior after a few years got old.. The darker brown of the HC looks really nice tho I even like the white piping. As for me the jet black with white stitching looks sick.
