The most important thing I carry is a camp toilet it folds up and sits between the fuel tank and box front behind the cab. Wet wipes and toilet paper in seat back. Out in the hills you never know when you might have a movement. :D Also carry a cutting board in that space.

Also carry 30' tow rope, come along, tire chains, assorted tools, gojo, wd40, assorted clevises, couple butt chains, extension cord (have a 600W inverter wired in with a outlet in the box), couple fillet knives in pork chop toolbox. between toolbox and box side carry 10' water hose and nozzle. Snow shovel between toolbox and fenderwell.

Under the rear seat litebox flashlight, mini air compressor, tire plug kit, paper towels, ziplock bags, Kozak towel, window cleaner, microfiber towels, little bag full of ratchet straps and bungees..

In upper glove box pair of binos. Lower glove box first aid stuff, lens wipes (for bino, sunglasses, and rifle scopes)

Lower center console ammo. Center console a bunch of junk.

Under hood 40' jumper cables. Grandpa always kept them coiled up under the hood always thought that was a good idea cuz that's were your going to need them anyhow

Your Grandfather just changed my thinking on jumper cable storage...............perfect!

I keep mine under the hood also, if you are in colder areas if your truck is the one that is running it will be warm and the cables will uncoil very easy. Some trucks are easier to find a place to put them. :jester:

Construction flipknife, LED flashlight, wet wipes, phone cables, pencil, hidden spare hitch key under armrest. First-aid kit, receiver hitch, GM jack/tools, rag bundle, snow brush, wheel-nut and other socket and tool set, fleece blankets, candles, leather wipes behind cab set. Trailer-harness adapter, road kit, tow rope, towels, 4 ratchet straps, duct & electrical tape, 4 litre jug'o'water in bed tote - matching tote beside it is empty for use. Jumpers under hood in spare battery spot.

Funny story, helping a teenager with a tire change on the side of the road in his rice-mobile. I had just positioned the jack and cranked a bit of weight off the tire and was preparing to crack the wheel nuts loose first. He had special wheels, special lugs. I asked him for his wrench and he handed it to me. I looked at him, "You don't have the special lugnut socket on you, do you?" He gave me the, "Why sir? What could you possibly be referring to?" look. Gave him a ride into town and explained that if he wasn't going to carry the nut socket, he might as well leave his spare tire at home, too and save some precious 0.001 quarter-mile time weight.

Got special lugs? Carry the special socket!!! Or you be walkn'.

While installing the HID headlights I noticed the extra battery shelf on the drivers side would probably make a great place to store the jumper cables, think I'm going to try and fabricate a box out of Kydex and see how I like it. Never would've thought to store them under the hood but makes perfect sense
