So far this would be my 3rd offer I have got from GM, first one was the same way I got mine today by playing around the Chevrolet.com website, the other was from GMC and I received that one in the mail. All right before I purchased a new vehicle.

is there a way to request one? I'm looking to purchase ASAP. I went to the site but didn't see how to download one. One link asked for a certificate number but I obviously don't have one.

It just pops up, I know when I bought my 13 Gmc Terrain the salesman looked up to see if there was any promotions for me or my wife under our zip code and he was able to pull up our private offer that was mailed to me. Otherwise just need to keep looking around on the website to get one to pop up for you.

I just went to Chevys website and click the 'build and price" Right as I began entering my name etc. a $1,000 offer popped up. Click here, http://www.chevrolet.com/build-your-own-chevrolet.html

Says you must buy by 1-31-14 and cant be combined with some other offers etc. Id personally wait to pull this coupon out at the VERY end of negotiating... If the dealer tries to say 'sorry you cant use it because we already gave you bonus cash, or a dealer discount etc." then walk away. I guarantee you the dealer won't let you leave and you will get it.

When you say you were entering your name do you mean at the point after you click "request a quote" on the vehicle that you built? If someone can get this to pop up who already owns/does not plan on buying I would really appreciate it. My truck will be in sometime in the next 2 weeks and I need all the savings I can get. Here's my info.

Ive been playing with the site for the past 10 mins and can't get a pop up. Not sure if Safari is blocking it or not. I may try to do the chat feature and ask for one through the site. Surely they will send me one......its a win win for them as I will be spending 45K plus.

Once you click that link above, then click 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 (that's which vehicle I am looking at) then when I was selecting the body style (Crew Cab Std. box) a window popped up saying redeem your $1,000. Enter your info here. Well, I did enter my name, address, email etc and hit submit. Then it said "error please try again later,

So in summary, it's not the 'request a quote' and it's not popping up for me a 2nd time. You may want to try on a different computer one one at work.

I love that.... they just sent me that and topped off my GM card points... 3 months after I bought a used truck because they weren't dealing on the new ones.... Their loss I guess. I love the new trucks but am fully satisfied with mine and the payment I have.

Fortunately for me when I was researching my '14 Silverado, I had the offer pop up. That was when I remembered others talking about it. So I printed that offer. @Ekordas, unfortunately for you, the offer has the name of the person who filled it out and it is non-transferable.

I was able to use a private offer for the truck I bought in Oct., did not have one for the truck I bought in Aug. While researching dealer inventory the offer popped up on the internet.

I had another pop up as well a few days ago. I used one a few months back on my 2014 Silverado. I signed papers on a Friday afternoon and picked up my truck on Saturday morning as they had to go get my truck from another dealer. Friday night I had one pop up on the site so when I went in Saturday morning the sales manager gladly accepted the private offer and reworked the paperwork for me.
