Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I put a couple more miles on it today and I am finally getting used to how it drives. It's so quite I constantly find myself doing about 10mph more than I am expecting. Me likey.

I noticed the same thing. It's so smooth and quiet that I look down and I'm doing 85 like it's nothing!

Thanks! Everything has to go black... Just trying to decide on paint or PlastiDip.

I sold the Vette but I still have a Camaro and Trans Am project in the works to keep me scratching. AT's in black look amazing, great call. I couldn't find one with the AC seats so I went with the SLT but now I'll have to get the bumpers and wheels done on my own.

congrats on the new truck!

i am on the same boat as you. i wanted the all terrain and i was going to order. unbeknown that gm does not offer the all terrain WITH a/c seats. that just doesnt make sense to me to be honest with you. just like i could not get the bose stereo without getting the all terrain package (that means having no a/c seats) or the texas edition package (meaning i would have to get 20 and loose my 18's) so i opt'd out of getting the bose seeing how it was not worth it in my opinion.

New shot of the truck with my actual camera from today. With a little over 450 miles on the truck now, I can't think of a single complaint.

Drives fantastic, the music (Spotify via Bluetooth and Pandora via the USB plug) works great, and the power is excellent.

Going to see about blacking out the bumpers and trim on monday (wrap...) so I will update if that happens.

CrRdz, thanks for the 'shop... it looks killer!

Got a little further on the project today. The crew at Superior Auto Design worked their magic on the gloss black wrap, covering the bumpers, grille surround, door handles, door trim, and rear bumper. I just picked up the truck so please excuse the terrible iPhone photo. We will have real photos up tomorrow!

Badass man. Congrats on the new truck. I have the itch to get one but trying to hold back as I am not sure which direction I want/need to go this time. Whether it's a 1500 or a 2500 it will be black and colormatched. You have spiked my interest in the wrap. Seems like a great idea. Did you compare pricing between paint and wraps?

What kind of blacking out are you thinking? I have a black 14 chevy and have debugged it and tinted the tail lights and 3rd brake. When it get warmer I'm pulling bumpers and grill to paint them. Already bought 2qt of ppg paint. I want all black up front and red outlined bow tie up front. I will keep my eye out to see what you have done.

Sorry didn't see 2nd page lol looking good.

Post some additional pics when you can. Interested in how well wrap looks around door handles, sensors in the bumpers etc. High Country is the only trim for Silverado owners to get painted bumpers. If not cost prohibitive this is a great option.
