364 days later (first post Jan 8, 2014) I'm here to update with my 25,000 mile review! Yep, 25k in one year, which included two complete trips up and down the east coast, a tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway, a couple of light off road adventures, many snow donuts, and trips to a million different race tracks.

LOVE. That's about all I can say about the truck even 25,000 miles in. I did have an issue (still have an issue) with the driver seat heater - it stopped heating - but that's the only mechanical/electrical/anything problem I've had thus far. All of the oil changes have still been 'free' and done on time.

Drive great, 15.5 real MPG over the first year (highway, dumb stuff, commuting, wheels/tires, level, etc.) and I am happy with that, especially now that gas is so cheap... Maybe it's time for a supercharger.

Interior is fantastic with just one small rattle (I'll find it...) but the front and rear seats are great, the storage is nice, and I haul a bunch of camera equipment everywhere so the charging points are key. I love the remote start and the bluetooth picks up my iPhone in seconds, resuming music from wherever I had it last, which is awesome.

Rides great. Looks great. Just great really. Thanks GMC!

Seeing that the photo’s of your truck have inspired me to do the Carbon Fiber pieces as well and now I have a whole roll of this stuff, I am posting pics for you to see the metal trim pieces on the steering wheel I did with some scrap from the door panel pieces. Not sure if the trim is the same on the GMC as the Chevy but from the looks of a small piece I can see in your photos I suspect they are……here it is:

How did you take airbag, and trim out to cover it? This is the only item left that I have left to do. The 3m Di-Noc carbon fiber is very easy to work with I feel. Its east to stretch, and reposition.

I am at the same stage.......all interior trim is wrapped, but the steering wheel trim. All I know is (1) disconnect battery, and (2) remove two screws on the backside of the steering wheel

How’s the vinyl holding up now that it’s been 4 years?
