2016 8spd... yeah i'm waiting for a call back now.. had it since last wed~.. grrr.. but they did give me a 2018 6spd with the same shitty shifts..

well got the truck back!... after 2 weeks!.. so to fix the harsh shifting i was having in 1-2, and downshifts 2-1 (clunk).. was a TPM /BCM reflash.. as far as the hesitation around 50-60, they flushed the trans.. new fluids and filters... ..so we'll see.. i know all my presets were jacked!! ... i'll need to drive it a few days to see how its acting...

Added a beacon to my truck. I decided if I was going to do it I was going to do it right.

I hid the controller so I don't have to look at it when I am not using it. I also mounted the light in such a way that I can unhook it and pop it off the truck in a few minutes when spring comes.

Funny thing is I just did an 800-mile road trip and this light cost me about 1.5 MPG!

License plate LED lights were not as bright anymore.  Replaced  with Philips LEDs. Here are some pictures. 20180307_002337.thumb.jpg.fe4516437a4eeeeac3e32285615ce6f7.jpg

In my experience those Phillips ones are the best!

New skins are always a pleasure.  Resets traction and noise expectations.

Reolaced my IOB 7" with the Alpine x110-slv 10" Restyle kit and added the leather steering wheel with radio controls. Drag is the steering wheel controls didn't work with the idatalink Maestro as I was told by the Alpine tech so I still have to change the BCM.

Pretty sure GMC and Chevy are both blue now. If your truck was/is compatible with the red clusters though, you’ll probably have to buy a new truck to swap a new blue one in lol.

Must have changed it in 2018 models then. I’ll start looking down the road here. To many  projects I’m in the middle of now
