What have you done to your K2 today?

Recommended Posts

well today I finally got around to doing my 1.5" MOTOFAB leveling kit and my MAGNUM rack came in too!!! The leveling kit was installed by a local shop and looks great! im very happy i didnt go with the 2" kit. the truck sits almost dead level in person but i want to measure it out. I may go with 1" lift blocks in the rear to keep a slight bit a rake since i like that look.

next up was my MAGNUM rack!! so please with the fit finish and quality! great product and super easy to install! dont waste your money paying a shop to do it! took me 30 mins and thats be uase i went slow under the truck running the wire harness neatly!

I'm at the truck shop now waiting to get my windows tinted.

Pictures to follow but it's raining here today.

Got in my new headlight trim (one broke during removal), VViViD air tint for my headlights, tailights, 3rd brake light and Anthracite colored dip from Dip Your Car. I'll start painting pieces of the truck this weekend.

It will definitely be deeper than stock you will hear your engine pumping under the hood and it sounds pretty good. K&N has been around a hot minute and are very reputable but even tho it's just an intake we're talking about AFE appealed to me a lot more and I'm super happy with it

I like the looks of the afe over k&n. Hopefully a dealer discount goes through and I get hooked up for half the price.

Installed rear frame hole covers.

And installed factory aluminum skid plates (sprayed in Line-X).

Decided I'd finally change my key fob internals to a new one I purchased on eBay. $45 and just about every tab broken later and I have a brand new fob lol. Nothing a dab or 2 of superglue couldn't fix.

I never use my spare set. A lot of short trips during school year so I press lock and unlock a lot I guess lol. Either way the dealership when I tried to get them to warranty it said that I wasn't the first to come in and ask but GM wouldn't agree to warranty fobs.

That's what she said.

Could be your thumbnail. I noticed I had pushed in with my nail a couple time and scratched the rubber good with my nail, little more time and I may just do the same. I now try to make sure I am pressing with the flesh of my thumb and not the nail. I am thinking of plastidip bombing my spare with several layers and see how that works, not like I need to see the icons anyway.

Yep, I pulled into a convenience store parking lot on the way home from the dealer to get a drink, and pulled off the plastic dealer emblem while I was there.
