Voice Recognition not working after Recall #13318 Rear Window Regulat

I recently had these two recalls performed on my 2014 SLT GMC Sierra when I went to get my oil change. Now my voice recognition is not working. Every time I push the icon on the stearing wheel "little man talking" it just goes quiet. I do not hear the "say a command" lady come on. It is quiet. I hold it and can see the prompts trying to come up the on instrument panel on dash but they will not not stay active. I know there is something going on as if it wants to work because I have to hang up the phone so I can listen to radio again. Has anyone had this problem? I do not think it was the window regulator update but possibly the BCM update?

Does the truck start or did they wipe out that feature too?

Have you checked to make sure the voice volume is turned up? Have you checked all the settings in the DIC/My LInk?

Took it to the dealer today but they had no idea what was going in. They need to spend a full day with it and contact GMC if there are any updates. I checked alll the settings and voume. I am thinking of resetting to factory settings and see what happens..i have no idea what happened but worked fin until i had bcm update...

Translation: leave the truck parked all day and when the customer calls at the end of the day, spend ten minutes investigating the problem and then tell the customer they could not duplicate the problem.
