We will NOT be live reviewing the 2015 Cadillac Escalade

Recommended Posts

Sorry everyone, we finally had an end to our streak of Live Reviewing new GM truck products as they are launched. Chevy and GMC love us and have been amazing enough to allow us to share a first drive of the new Silverado/Sierra/Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon right before they came out. This go-around however, Cadillac refused our request to drive the new Escalade this week with the rest of the industry. There was "no room" for us. :ughdance:

Just wanted to put it out there that we tried and are more than a little bummed! Maybe we'll get a chance to drive one at our office soon but we're not counting on it. :happysad:

tl:dr: Our live reviews suck and Cadillac is the only one who has the balls to tell us

You know if the event is in Michigan you could have your Midwest corespondent go and save them tons of money on airfare and hotels.

If they wanted to save money they should have not flown me to NYC for the unveiling in October as a tease, only to deny a full driving date this week. Poor form!

The event is in South Carolina, BTW.

Young to middle aged white guys are not the target audience of Cadillac. Rear tail lights are butt ugly. Screw Cadillac and the horse they rode in on.

It's funny because that's kinda the target market. Young & affluent males of every race.

Asking the PR head from Cadillac, you'd think they have an unlimited supply of 90-year old grandfathers who like capacitive touch, high tech, edgy vehicles that cost $30k more than a nearly identical GMC/Chevy.

So, when will you change the name to gm-trucksminuscaddilac.com?

The dash that is already after gm kinda ruins the obvious "spelling". Maybe that's why you were denied? They though the site was " gm minus trucks dot com" probably the same guy that set the new MSRPs only to offer 6k off from day one.

.

There was "no room" for us. :ughdance:

Or they just called you fat.
