Post your 2014+ wheel/tire set-up

Recommended Posts

Careful with 275/60. I rubbed at full lock in reverse at -12 offset. No rubbing other than that though.

wheels that stick too far out with negative offset is the reason why it rubbed?

Can't imagine 33's rubbing with 2.5" level/lifts....

Correct, sticking out too far with just a 2" level. They didn't rub at all with in the stock position of 20x9 +27. They only rubbed when I added the 1.5" spacers to put them at 20x9 -12.

I didn't use them and my truck rides good and no vibration just remember to take these copper clips off #2a9ba53d03f70e4f647bd51ce9533e31b.jpg

It's on the rear only 2 per side

It's amazing the difference in taking these off makes. I was getting a vibration starting at 60-65 mph. Now I don't get the vibration at all.

I will have to look at mine, you removed the copper rings from the front? Can you remove them by just removing the tires/wheels?

I have literally read through every post involving a 305 tire and wanted to get one last confirmation before I pull the trigger. I have 20x9 0 offset wheels. Looking at going with the 305-55-20 Nitto G2's. With a level, will I rub? I don't mind rubbing the carpet a tad and having to zip tie it back, but don't want to have to trim metal. Thanks in advance!

I didn't take anything off the front. Only did the rear and it fixed my problem. I'll check my fronts though. Yea, I just took the copper rings off. Just pull your wheels and you'll see them.

I'm trying to decide between the Cooper ATP and the dynapro atm in 275/60r20. Need you guys to help sway me one way or the other please....just can't make up my mind. Both seem like good tires. I want quiet and nice ride....they both weigh about the same so no difference there. Tell me which you'd go with and why!! Thanks.

A lot of the guys are running the ATP on here. I think they look better than the hankook but that being said I had a set of the cooper atp's 275-60-20 on my truck and it took about 7 tires to find 4 good ones. That was about a year and half ago so maybe their quality control has improved since then but I was tired of having tires out of round and having to go back and forth to the shop to get them balanced so I bought a set of Toyos and they have been great. All road forced under 10 and wearing like iron. Hope this helps!

I've had 4 sets of ATPs on this truck already (in different sizes). Love them, and they perform great in the snow. I also like that they have a more aggressive looking pattern.

Also though, I have heard nothing but good things about the hankook.

You'll be fine with that rim size and offset. I doubt you'll rub but if you do it will be very minimal

I read every page of this forum and didn't see this exact set up.

Rough country 2.5 level with rear block

KMC Badlands 20x9 -12 offset

BF Goodrich K02's-was nervous about this tire as I haven't spoke to anyone that has them. I have had Wrangler Duratrac's on our last 5 vehicles and currently on my rubicon. I will say after driving for just 2 weeks with them that they are a great all around tire and would highly recommend.

Your wife is wrong. Those look great, especially with the Iridium color of the truck.

So finally got the rims and tires on! I think it looks really good! Unfortunately my wife doesn't seem to like them... :( so may not get to keep them
Tires are 275/60/20 cooper Zeon LTZs offset of rims is +18mm
