Any trucks here running 305/45/22 street truck tires on OEM 22” wheels?
I’m running 285 Toyo’s Proxies and would like to go to 305 Hankook Venus ST..
These factory 9” wide wheels are a little on the narrow side for 305’s..
Any concerns other then a installer not mounting them?
Any photo’s?
Thanks

Second time changing after market wheels.

First I  had fuel sledge 20x9 but felt it was a  crowded wheel for that size.  Too many spokes and a pain to clean.

Finally  settled on Moto Metal MO970 but gloss black and went 20x10 -24

so much happier. Love this wheel.

Tires are Nitto rg 33x12.50 x 20

had to do minor trimming on the plastic.

lift the dealer installed before I even seen the truck. its the RC 3.5 with UCA

drives just as smooth as stock.

Heres a pic from the day I picked  it up. Give you more of an idea with stock rims you have

Got some color on the new 6’s by my boys at Pacific Coast Powdercoating. Wanted to try and lose the orange look out of my current color so they mix me up a custom color with copper gold and bronze and I love it! If you’re interested in seeing any of the other parts check out the build thread.

285s are a great size to change the look and ensure no rubbing. Looks like you have a lot of room around the tire.. How much bigger do you think you could have gone?

Just to clarify did you have to level the front end to fit 285/65/18's? Or was that picture bone stock? Have the same wheels on my 2017 and even with all the threads in here on tire sizes I cannot find a definitive answer on where or not you can shoehorn that size in there with no rubbing.

Not to bad. I trimmed the liner just because my drive way is steep.
