While I'm at it....

Has anybody cut out the resonator from the stock exhaust and replaced it with a piece of straight pipe? Wondering if it makes the stock exhaust sound better without any interior drone thanks to the ANC.

When you start cutting and hacking on the exhaust you start getting leaks and it will begin rotting out, not only that but the muffler shop will use garbage pipe.

 

I would leave it stock or install a cat back.

I disabled my active noise cancelation. Once I installed my subs the ACN was feeding through the subs and annoying as hell. The ACN is controlled through the amp via a duplicated crank position sensor signal. All you need to do is cut the wire and it will be disabled.

I am having this same issue. Do you mind telling me how to find the ACN wire in order to make the cut?
