A couple ideas for my Sierra

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

My Sierra's stock right now, just missing a badge or two and I want to do a couple things to her.

I'm just pitching some ideas that I would like to do to her, but I won't be doing anything for the time being as I'll be away for the next two months.

The seemingly more common things I want to do are as follows:

-Install HIDs (5-6k)

-Aftermarket rims, nothing bigger than 20s (I want Worx or Fuel in black but I'll settle for anything that goes well with the iridium metallic)

-Lift her 2"-6" (won't happen until I'm comfortable abandoning the warranty)

-With the lift, of course comes bigger tires (no idea where to start)

-Without the lift I'm thinking 32" tires (I have somewhat of an idea)

-1.25"+ wheel spacers to fill out the..

-..fender flares! (Bushwackers probably)

-Billet grille (T-Rex billet grille p/n 20208B)

-She's an SLE so I'd want to do something aside from the HIDs to the headlights to add a little pizazz

A little less common:

-After the billet grille is installed, I wanna throw some lights behind it

-Considering inward-facing engine compartment lights (that are on all the time) although I'm not set on them

-Aftermarket Anzo Black LED taillights

-I want to somehow put a collapsible loveseat in the box up against the the forwardmost edge. I'll probably end up making it myself and adding slots for ratchet straps to hold it down underneath the tonneau cover.

-I didn't get foglights so I want to replace the plastic insert with a wide-angle reflector and install LEDs with a strobe function as well

-Instead of the tailgate light bar I'd want to get the aftermarket LED bumper steps

I may have forgotten some things but that pretty much covers it.

I realize that my goals are sort of ambitious/lofty/expensive, but I'll do most of the labour myself and I'll consult the forum when it comes to specifics.

Let me know what you guys think or if you have any input!

(Note: It'll be a while before I'm done with her and I'm an automotive noob so I'll be consulting the forum a lot)
