Not a joke. I have almost zero knowledge when it comes to CB radios.

With the technology we have today, I'd look at getting a good handheld and just wire in a charging station. Then you won't need to worry about the antenna and wires and such. Now if I remember correctly...forgive me it's been a while...but I do believe Cobra CB radios were some of the best around.

Do you mean a VHF radio? Like ones used for forestry projects and such? We actually use them quite a bit as many of the areas we access are active haul roads.

CBs are used (in the US at least) primarily by truckers and groups like off-road clubs. It's in the 27 MHz range. Not sure if that's VHF.

1st let me say I do have a cb in my truck.... 2ed why do you want one, it would help with suggestions

cobra with side band feature. Also their are some nice system out there that are hacked to pump out tons of power...

A Radio shop that boosts the radio iis like the Jailbreak with phones...........

I run a galaxy vhp98 its a sid and radio. And has a few more watts then the standard cbs

I have one that I use for road trips and went with a portable Midland that doubles as a handheld. That way I can use it in multiple vehicles. Range is much better with the mag-mount antenna than the hand held.
