I'm 5'11 and needed a step stool to get to it where it was zip tied in the back of the engine bay. Now I have it sitting in front of the coolant tank.

I didn't see the leveling kit on your list of mods...Just incase you were curious as to what it would look like. attachicon.gifImageUploadedByTapatalk1415921566.540641.jpg

Awesome, thanks ! I promised my wife I wouldn't do anything to raise the truck till both kids are out of car seat carriers. I'm down to my 9 month old daughter now. My son loves to climb in and sit in his booster. Throwing my daughter's car seat into the base is high for me, and I'm 5'11. My wife is only 5'6

I'll have to take a look and see how far down into the engine bay it sits. At 5'6", I may need the step stool every time I need to plug in ;-)

Well, half the "mod" list is complete !!

Weathertechs- check

Windows Tinted- check

Fog Lights on w/ High Beams - Check

Fog Lights/High Beams replaced w/ LED's - check

Now just waiting for the VLED headlights to come in, and install the puddle lights along with the light bar. The last two will probably end up waiting until the Spring time.

LED Fog Lights and High Beams are coming out. They "look" great, but are as worthless as tits on a bull !! Ordered VLED's 3,000 Lumens Fog lights and Heam Beams. That will give me 9,000 lumens worth of lights when I need it.

Nothing wrong with having the truck plugged in while running. Don't forget you can double remote start by hitting lock and remote start to add another 10min. to the run time.

Sharp truck!

Is their a link to the fog light mod?

Amiodynski- I would have told you that LED's are nt there yet.

The DDM HID kits are good but there is warm up time. I DO NOT rcommend them for high beams.

For High beams get the 65w XD5 on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/XD5-5800K-9005-HB3-Xenon-Krypton-Quartz-White-Light-Bulbs-65W-for-Headlamp-Fog-/150233251239?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item22fa997da7&vxp=mtr

I also use their LOW beams too. Get both for 30$ .

Very few xenon bulbs are the real deal and brighter- These are as good as Silverstar Ultras and 1/3 the price. Trust me I tried a bunch out there.

Well the VLEDS HID kit with DRL Module and Relay harness are in. Very happy with the results. I'm hoping by mid next week the VLEDS LED high beam and fog light kits come in. Then I should be complete with my lighting upgrades.

Here are the LMZ 5k LED and 5k HID all in and working.

Here are a few shot I just took.

First set of pictures is Low Beam HID 5k 35 watt VLED'S

2nd set of pictures is Low Beam and LMZ 5k 25 watt Fog Lights.

Picture doesn't show how wide this beam really is, but it lights up a ton.

Last set are the Low beam, Fog lights, and the High Beams (LMZ 5k)

As the last picture kind of shows, they are all close to matching perfectly, but there is a variation in the LED vs HID.

Overall I will say I'm very happy with how the lights look, produce and the craftsmanship.
