nokian winter "tyres" vs other brands (studded)

is anyone using Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 suv tires or the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 suv studded tires.. if so how do u rate them

i looking at downsize from 275 70 18 to a 265 70 17 winter tires

I have used them...you cannot buy a better tire...hands down

^^^^^ I had Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 on my Cadillac ATS4 last year and there the best winter tires I have had on any car. cant go wrong with Nokian

I'm leaning towards the 8-s they look pretty aggressive with all the stud placements

I am running hakkapleiitta r2s and love them, great tires but you do pay for them.

I had a set that came with a used car I bought a few years ago. Excellent in the winter but the soft compound can't handle warmer weather. Definitely a winter only tire.

I've never run studded tires had a set of Nokians in my avalanche non studded loved them. does anyone have the hakkapeliita 8 suv or the 7' s wondering how they are (studded)

I've been using them this season. Studded 8 ply I believe. 275/65/18. I would never go back to an all season. They handle the ice and snow awesome in our -30 Celsius temperatures
