Been busy buying stuff to get started. Got all the cleaning materials I need to make the paint pop, eraser wheel to debadge/demold/remove pinstripe. As well as floor mats, steering wheel cover, repair kit for gauge cluster, and getting the diodes for the 6 hi mod tomorrow. Also putting in the CAI and clear headlights from the old truck. Pics to come as I start work on it monday.

Well wife said a new cluster was out of the question so I ordered the repair kit for the cluster I have.

Forget the cluster. A Scanguage is like $100 and will do way more. Or if you're feeling spendy an Insight will do 8 parameters at once vs the Scanguage's 4.

Haven't got to work on it yet but after a little over 100 miles of driving today I'm really impressed with this truck. Its as smooth and responsive as can be and still shows 20-22 highway mpg (instant mpg) with an average of 18.1. Besides a pissed off lifter, I've got no complaints. Mods begin tomorrow morning!
