2006 Silverado 2500hd crew cab short bed 6.0 gas gas tank

I was looking to put a larger gas tank in my 06 silverado crew cab short bed 2500hd with a 6.0 gas engine. I went on line and Titan keeps popping up. I called them and they said it was only for diesel fuel. Not gas. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Transfer Flow makes a much bigger replacement tank for the tiny 26 gallon one in the gassers. But they think too highly of their work and the last time I checked they wanted over $1K for it and a shop they recommended also wanted $1k to install it. They are both nuts.

Thanks, I'm not a mechanic by trade. Was just wondering if it's possible, if I'm buying a new tank if the Titan would work even though it's for diesel. My tank is plastic and the Titan is 1/4" military grade plastic. Thought maybe it would work,but I don't know if there is is a difference in hoses and fuel pump diameter? All sounds good.

The diesel tank won't work for gasoline and would actually be illegal due to DOT regulations for vapor recovery.

The GMT 800 3/4 ton suburbans had a 38.5 gal tank. I never checked to see if they could be made to fit, but since they basically have the same frame it might be worth checking out. I remember in my 2001 suburban it was nice having a 600+mile range on the hwy!, but at the gas station I would have a long wait too!
