EDIT: Not to burst anyone's bubble, but judging by the dates on the articles, as well as what I can see in the pictures....These are the 16 test mules. I remember looking all over for news on the 16 because I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get a 15, and they were going to change the styling.

 

Those WERE the 2016 test mules. If you look at the dates of the posts in this thread it is almost a year old ...

The lighted tail light configuration through the camouflage and location of the front lights and covered grille and hood correspond to the 2016 configuration. Chevy just rolled it out sooner to get a jump on Ford.

If the 10 spd trans comes out next year (2017), that will make the current junk 8 speed worse as far as desirability in the future, only being in limited trucks for such a short period of time.

I like the 8 spd so far..Why is it junk?
