Your first mod other than wheels/tires

Here's the scenario - you have $1500 that you want to use for a mod on your truck - NOT INCLUDING wheels and tires, what's the first thing you'd change? I'm leaning towards the Borla GM exhaust or a rertractable tonneau (e.g. Retrax).

While I don't consider them mods I myself went with the drivers side assist handle, console organizer, gm hd floor mats. Line-X and Bak G2 bed cover were included in the deal.

I want the Borla GM exhaust myself will have to wait. I'd like to hear one in peron before I invest that much in a cat-back system.

My head says get the bed cover first but I really want to hear that V8 a little bit more! I have heard that exhaust in person and it really sounded great. Not too loud, just the right amount of rumble on start up and when you get on it. Borla has a clip on YouTube, tough to get the full, true experience but it's pretty decent.

Line-x. Husky wreatherbeaters front and back. Fold-a-cover g4 elite with optional personal caddy. Window tint. Electric locking tailgate. Airraid MIT tube.

Those are all the things I've done so far, and they've all been completely worth it.

I, too, am waiting to hear the Borla in person before taking the plunge. Videos most times don't do such modifications justice.

GM 4" chrome steps,Gm molded splash guards, Gm bed mat, Truxedo Lo Pro bed cover, Z71 all weather floor mats in the front and Husky weather beater mat in the rear(3 kids ride in the back). Next is window tint.

Want to hear the v8 with 1500 to spend. man I would save up for long tubes and do the exhaust completely the first time around. if I could do it over again thatS what I would do

No, for $300 diamondback will have it sprayed with Line-X. My neighbor has it on his truck, looks really nice!

If i could do it all over again. My first 2 mods would be 2.5 level kit and tires... i kno u dont want 2. Just my opinion. I did all the dummy mods before i made it look like a truck
