Crew cab fixed position rear 'back' seat

Is there a way to loosen the back of the seat so it tips or moves forward just a tad? I want to hang a flag back there for Canada Day, and drape the balance behind the seat...

Well, after 80 views I figure someone would answer. My 2001 is probably light years different, but it is actually only attached on the bottom. There are hooks on the back of the seat that go through loops on the cab.

when you put up the bottom of the seat the back comes forward a bit, easily enough to put a flag back there. you can almost fit a hand down there. then when the seat is put back down the seat back goes back. it's non-adjustable otherwise.

it may be similar to the older ones, it's only attached at the base. on the back of each seat is a metal long hook kind of thing that goes through a loop on the back wall of the cab. that metal hook slides up and down through the hook when the seat bottom is put up or down.

I had a problem where the seat back broke, or became loose, and the metal on metal loop/hook would clank. Had the backseat out a few times.

Nope, its completely solid, its a 2015

I'm not saying it's not solid but the top of the seat lifts up and comes away from the back of the cab when the seat bottom is moved to the vertical position. I'm sure the seat mechanism hasn't changed between years.

Thanks, not sure how I missed that? Works exactly as you described.
