41,800 - Was getting a random shake in drive line at times. Adding centramatic wheel balancers.

 

Directions for balancers stated check for outta round by jacking tire slightly off ground and spin with angled block close to tread checking for irregular distance. All four rears were slightly outta round.

 

Well rotated tires fronts to inside rear, spares to outside rear, rear inside to front, added balancers to wheels, dropped pressure in rears from 75 psi to 70. Drove it about 10 miles up to 70 mph. Ride is smooth.

 

Downside is I have a dead interneral tire pressure monitor on one of the spares I put on, Aftermarket system . I'll have to get a hold of TST see what they say.

Spotted this the other day, brought the truck to local GM, of course could not get honest answer from service writers, "that is nothing to be concerned about"

900 miles pulling with 600 miles to go, can smell the gear oil getting near rear end. Rear axle is hot to the touch.

Actually seen 3 in the trailer.

Turned 60,000 miles last night.

Got the news at the Big city GM dealer today, dually is getting a new rear end.

GM seems to only went half retard on the C&C frame. Looks like it's only gonna take minimal mod to get the airlift bag kit order for the 2010 on.
